What do I do?




Today is Wednesday, May 6th the middle of week six of online learning/teaching. As I sit here in my crisp office pondering what to write about and knowing that each day I am made knew. The truth is I am a tenacious follower of Christ. Tomorrow is the National Day of prayer and I am inspired to lead a 30-minute prayer. There could be no time limit on when we pray because prayer should be like every breath that we take but because we live in a world as today we are cautious as to how to pray publicly and tomorrow across our nation we have the proclamation to pray publicly. There are focus areas to pray on and I know that many times people in my situation get looked passed because of it being a silent area for whatever reason one thinks. I am a teacher, a leader, a veteran, a Tia, a friend, a prayer warrior, divorced, single, and yes a dog mom. Many are one, two, or maybe even three but I really thought about this when I started creating a family tree. I am the only one out of my family that is not married nor has any children. For whatever reason, only God knows I can share why I am in this place but in reality, I am in this place because of God, and it's up to me on what I do with this time. I can give myself away so He can use me and that is the best choice but how can that be done, I ask myself. I am a Christian for 19 years and not sure if I can add the two years as a younger child only because I was a lukewarm Christian then and did crazy things lost young adult things. So let's see how God inspires me and most of all how I listen to His voice!

Destination Journey

 Retreat to your childhood. Make a list of all the things you thought you wanted to be when you were younger and why. List everything even if it was a circus clown. I remember many times that I wanted to be a veterinarian because of the love I had for animals. I wanted to find out everything about animals. There were also times that I wanted to be a builder because I loved creating things. I build a shack for my guinea pigs. I was told I made a toy when I was four and called it the up and down toy. Another, I am not sure if I ever thought about being this but I loved cooking, I loved creating special things to eat like a pickle and mustard sandwich.
